Ballyhoo Cottage Guest Book

Our stay at Ballyhoo was amazing! Not only were we the first guests but also the first to get married at this wonderful piece of paradise! Pastor William Coby married us at the waters edge under the thatched roof hammock hut the first day of our stay. Each day that followed got more amazing — everything from the pool, beach, shelling, snorkeling Smith's Reef, sunsets and the comforts of Balllyhoo! The villa is beautifully decorated and everything is thought of. My husband made me the most romantic dinners that we enjoyed on the patio. We loved to see the boats going in and out of Turtle Cove. We did many island tours in our rental car and we found some of the most beautiful white sand beaches with the bluest shades of water we have ever seen. The memories will stay with us forever. We are sad to leave — but OK, knowing we will return.

The Z's — Westhaven, CT

I hope you enjoy this house as much as we did. Everything you might want to do is so close — even just to sit back and relax and enjoy the sun. We found the Tiki Bar to be the best and if you want the ultimate boat ride you must do Kenard Cruises. We will be back next year!

What an awesome "rainy season" — nothing but sun! We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Ballyhoo Cottage. It was beautifully appointed and everything we dreamed it would be. We loved our gorgeous view of the ocean, our walks on the beach, the festive sounds of the marina, and best of all, the peaceful location of the cottage. It has truly been a fabulous 2nd anniversary! Thanks for making it so unforgetable.

What an amazing place to spend your honeymoon. Our stay at Ballyhoo was everything we could have hoped for. Amazing weather, gorgeous views, great snorkeling.... and the list goes on. We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing, peaceful week. We will never forget it and we look forward to returning.

Ballyhoo Cottage was everything we hoped for and MORE! Beautifully appointed... you thought of everything. We will miss the views and sunsets, walks on the beach, reading and relaxing in the hammock. Grilling steaks at the pool was as much fun as dining at the numerous restaurants. We have vacationed on many islands in the Caribbean - resorts - villas, etc., but Ballyhoo, hands down, is our favorite! We will return next year to celebrate our 14th anniversary.

We just returned from our visit to Provo and our stay at Ballyhoo Cottage. How wonderful! The villa was perfect for us and so beautifully appointed. The location was perfect, also; and we tried every restaurant at Turtle Cove Marina and Magnolia. We also visited Hemingway's and Anaconda. The Marina restaurants and Magnolia were our favorites.

We were so pleased with our holiday that we would like to inquire about the availability of Ballyhoo Cottage for the week of December 6-13, 2008. We are creatures of habit, and when we find an island holiday location that we like, we tend to return over and over and over again.

We assume that the perfect weather we had December 1-8, 2007 is usual for that time of year? I hope it wasn't unusual, for we would have to rethink our request for December 6-13, 2008. Also, we assume that no further construction would occur on the National Park land next to Ballyhoo Cottage? The fact that visitors park there is not a problem, but if they were to construct any type of concession there, it would hinder the privacy and solitude.

Bruce and I had an absolutely wonderful time last week (it was everything you described and more)! It was the perfect way to celebrate our first anniversary. The only problem is that it was not long enough. So, I was wondering if you are taking reservations for 2009? If so, could we go ahead and reserve Sat., Feb. 7 through Saturday, Feb. 21? I think two weeks is what we really need to relax and enjoy. Please let us know what is possible.

We cannot thank you enough for providing the most perfect setting at Ballyhoo for our vacation... we are getting ready to leave for the airport but are already craving our next visit to your wonderful island. Ballyhoo did not disappoint... in fact, it exceeded our expectations and provided all the comforts of home... a perfect setting for a relaxing, romantic getaway for two. And the island is our favorite in the Caribbean... we have visited several and feel we have truly found "our spot" on Turks & Caicos. We loved your recommendations on restaurants and found a few more as well. Everything is so well contained on the island... so easy to get around and the people here are so friendly. We particularly enjoyed our walks on the beach and the snorkeling was awesome... just steps away from our cottage. And the private pool and gazebo were certainly an added bonus.

Is Ballyhoo available from April 11 - 18 next year? We would like to book it as soon as possible for our next spring break to ensure it doesn't slip away. We noticed from your guest book entries that it has been booked fairly solid since day one and we don't want to risk the disappointment of not being able to return next year. Please let me know. And again, thanks for sharing Ballyhoo with us. It is in such a perfect, private location, yet close to everything... and it is so beautifully decorated and maintained. We hope to return again and again.
